Summary:
This rule will divide Florida Waters that are open to the harvest of bay scallops into three separate regions for the purpose of establishing regionally-specific harvest season dates. These changes would apply to all Florida Waters from the west bank at the mouth of Mexico Beach Canal in Bay County (85°25.84’ West Longitude) to the Pasco-Hernando county line (28°26.016’ North Latitude).
