NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 10, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Plaza Executive Center. Notice of receipt of this petition was originally published on February 12, 2016 in Volume 42, Number 29, F.A.R. Following publication of this notice, the Department received a request to change the name of the building from Plaza Executive Center to J&G Plaza 1. Petitioner seeks an emergency temporary variance of the requirements of an unspecified Section of A17.3, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code, that requires upgrading the elevators operations which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
