    NOTICE OF CORRECTION

Notice is hereby given that the following correction has been made to the proposed rule in Vol. 41 No. 224, November 18, 2015 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

The correction is in response a letter from the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee, dated November 30, 2015.

PURPOSE and EFFECT shall read as: The Board proposes the repeal of Rule 64B1-7.001, F.A.C. because the Department of Health, rather than the Board of Acupuncture, monitors license renewal. The Board proposes the promulgation and adoption of Rule 64B1-7.0025, F.A.C. to outline the requirements for reactivation of retired license by partially incorporating Rule 64B1-2.018, F.A.C. (which is being repealed).

SUMMARY shall read as: Rule 64B1-7.001, F.A.C. is being repealed because the Department of Health monitors license renewal rather than the Board of Acupuncture; The adoption of Rule 64B1-7.0025, F.A.C. will outline requirements for reactivation of retired license.

SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIAMTED REGULATORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATION shall read as: The agency has determined that this will not have an adverse impact on small business or likely increase directly or indirectly regulatory costs in excess of $200,000 in the aggregate within one year after the implementation of the rule.  A SERC has not been prepared by the agency.  The agency has determined that the proposed rule is not expected to require legislative ratification based on the statement of estimated regulatory costs or if no SERC is required, the information expressly relied upon and described herein: During discussion of the economic impact of this rule at its Board meeting, the Board, based upon the expertise and experience of its members, determined that a Statement of Estimated Regulatory Costs (SERC) was not necessary and that the rule will not require ratification by the Legislature.  No person or interested party submitted additional information regarding the economic impact at that time.

Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.
