PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the rule workshop is to develop language to provide clarification on the application process for EMS training centers, medical director participation, documentation needed for site reviews, training center equipment lists, hours needed for field and internship, Department of Education frameworks, review the 1998 National Standard Curriculum for paramedic clinical rotation requirements, review CoAEMSP standards, and modify certificate of approval for training center programs.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Student records, medical records, records of participation, training requirements, emergency medical services (EMS) training center approval process, medical director participation, and EMS equipment lists for training centers.
