    INVITATION TO BID

    The State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Construction & Facility Management Office (CFMO) requests bids from State of Florida registered licensed General or Building Contractors (GC) for the following project located at Marianna National Guard Armory, Marianna, Florida.

    PROJECT NAME: Marianna NGA Erosion and Paving, Marianna, Florida

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The construction project will alleviate the erosion, repair the storm water and drainage systems, and provide additional parking to the front of the facility.

    1.Improvements to the parking facility including the addition of new parking, the milling and paving of existing parking area, including striping, signs, curb stops, and all necessary improvements.

    2.Construct erosion control measures such as gravity walls, drainage structures, rubble rip rap, and other miscellaneous improvements.

    FUNDING: The State of Florida's performance and obligation to pay under this contract is contingent upon availability of funding and an annual appropriation by the Legislature.

    BID OPENING DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System (late bids will not be accepted)

    MANDATORY PRE-BID/SITE VISIT DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System

    The Department reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the DMA.

    Requests for private meetings by individual firms will not be granted. No individual verbal communication shall take place between any applicants and the Owners or Owner’s representatives. Requests for any additional information, clarifications, or technical questions must be in writing.
