NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from Josaphat J. Celestin on March 11, 2015. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 489.105(a), (b), (c), Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.
The petitioner seeks a declaratory statement regarding clarification of Section 489.105(a), (b), (c), Florida Statutes, as to whether the construction compliance manager on a job must be licensed under the aforementioned sections of the Florida Statutes or whether a local municipality may exclusively require that manager to be a professional engineer. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
