The Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Waiver or Variance, which was filed on December 20, 2017, by Diane Yerger. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published December 22, 2017 in Volume 43, Number 246 of the Florida Administrative Register. The Petitioner was seeking a waiver or variance of Rule 64B3-5.003(3)(b), Option 1, Florida Administrative Code, entitled “Technologist,” which sets forth the education, training/experience and examination requirements for specialty licensure in blood banking.

The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public telephonic meeting, held February 2, 2018. After discussion concerning the Petition, Petitioner requested that the petition be withdrawn.
