REQUESTING QUALIFICATIONS FOR DESIGN-BUILD TEAMS
The State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Construction & Facility Management Office (CFMO) requests qualifications from State of Florida registered licensed General/Building Contractors (GC) and Architect/Engineering (A/E) Teams for Design-Build Services for the following project located at 11737 Honey Hill Drive, Miramar (Broward County), Florida.

PROJECT: 211004 Miramar EST, Miramar (Broward County), Florida.
QUALIFICATIONS DUE: As stated on the MyFloridaMarketPlace Vendor Bid System.
Submittals are to be sent to Department of Military Affairs, Construction & Facility Management Office (CFMO), Attention: Contract Management Branch, Robert F. Ensslin, Jr., National Guard Armory, 2305 State Road 207, St. Augustine, Florida 32086. Submittals received after the due date will NOT be considered.
STATEMENT OF WORK: Design and construction of a 50 foot by 60 foot (+/-) insulated pre-engineered metal building. This building will require a minimum of 14 foot internal clearance to accommodate the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) equipment. The structure will include male and female latrines, storage, control room, and staging room. Special Mechanical, Electrical and Data/Telecomm requirements are expected to accommodate the EST’s robust computer and projection equipment. This building will be designed to meet Industry standards as well as local, state and federal building code requirements. Design and construction will include all utility services, information systems, storm drainage, parking and site improvements.
The Department reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the DMA.
