62-621.300Permits
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Department is initiating rulemaking to revise four existing NPDES Generic Permits for Stormwater Discharge from Large and Small Construction Activities (CGP), Multi-Sector Generic Permit for Stormwater Discharge Associated with Industrial Activity (MSGP) and the Industrial Wastewater Generic Permit for Discharge of Ground Water From Dewatering Operations. The purpose of the revisions is to update the CGP and MSGP for consistency with current US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements, and to incorporate mutually consistent provisions for dewatering operations at non-contaminated sites into the CGP and the Industrial Wastewater generic permit.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Department is developing amendments to the Generic Permits noted herein under 62-621.300. This workshop will be broadcast via webinar.
