Construction Industry Licensing Board

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board declined to answer the petition for declaratory statement filed by Manuel Blanco. On December 12, 2019, petitioner sought the Board’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 489.131, F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Vol. 46, No. 13, on January 21, 2020, in the Florida Administrative Register. The Board, at its meeting held on February 14, 2020, declines to answer the Petition finding that the Petitioner has no standing, the petition is facially insufficient, and the authority of the local building office requires him to comply with local ordinances.
