PLACE: Workshops will include online public engagement as part of SFWMD's efforts to engage the public and stakeholders while preventing potential spread of COVID-19. GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Amendments to Chapter 40E-61, F.A.C., to be consistent with the 2016 Northern Everglades and Estuaries Protection Program (NEEPP or 373.4595, F.S.) and Section 403.067, F.S. The District has drafted rules in two parts that describe the following District actions:

(1) The District processes for collecting and assessing data to identify necessary projects, actions, and programs to improve the quality, quantity, timing, and distribution of water in the Northern Everglades watersheds; and

(2) The permitting requirement for those landowners who conduct water quality monitoring in lieu of implementing Best Management Practices.
