The Department of Management Services hereby gives notice:

On May 18, 2020, the Department issued an Order in response to a Petition for Waiver of subsections 60GG-4.002(7)-(13) and 60GG-4.004(2), F.A.C., filed by the Department of Economic Opportunity on May 1, 2020. Notice of the Petition was published in the Florida Administrative Register on May 6, 2020, in Vol. 46, No. 89. The Order on the Petition grants the requested waiver of the rules. Petitioner demonstrated that application of the rules would create a substantial hardship in the form of hindering or preventing Petitioner from helping the increased number of reemployment assistance claimants due to the Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 and that granting the waiver would achieve the underlying purpose of the statute by improving government services.
