40E-6.011Policy and Purpose

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 18, 2020, the South Florida Water Management District (District), received a petition for waiver from Cypress Park Condominium Association (Application No. 17-0130-2) for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the Old Pompano Canal for existing chain link cross fencing, masonry cross-wall, and site lighting located within Section 1, Township 49 South, Range 42 East; Broward County. The petition seeks relief from subsection 40E-6.011(4) and paragraph 40E-6.221(3)(n), Fla. Admin. Code, which governs placement of permanent and semi-permanent above-ground structures within 40 feet of top of the canal bank within Works or Lands of the District.
