NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from Initial Engineers, P.A. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section C405.7.1, Florida Building Code 5th edition (2014) Energy Conservation as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioner seeks clarification as to whether the above-referenced section requires conformance with ASHRAE 90.1, 8.4.2, Automatic Receptacle Control.
