    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from Warren C, Thompson, CPA, filed on May 12, 2017. The petition seeks the agencys opinion as to the applicability of Section 489.503(4), F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner asks the following question, “When contracting with a public electrical utility to work on their system as a contractor, would petitioner be considered part of the utility’s “forces” and exempt from a Florida Electrical Contractors License for such work?” Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
