65C-45.010Standards for all Licensed Out-of-Home Caregivers
The Department of Children and Families hereby gives notice:
An order was issued disposing of the petition for temporary variance from subparagraph 65C-45.010(2)(h)4., Florida Administrative Code, from KIDS in Distress. The Notice of Variances and Waivers was published in Volume 49, No. 102 of the Florida Administrative Register on May 25, 2023. Subparagraph 65C-45.010(2)(h)4. states in pertinent part that each bedroom shall have at least two means of exit in case of emergency.
The petition was granted because Petitioner demonstrated a substantial hardship and that, as long as the current sleeping arrangements are maintained, the purpose of the underlying statutes will be achieved.
