65C-45.010Standards for all Licensed Out-of-Home Caregivers
The Department of Children and Families hereby gives notice:
An order was issued disposing of the petition for variance from subparagraph 65C-45.010(2)(g)3., Florida Administrative Code, from Children’s Network of Southwest Florida. The Notice of Variances and Waivers was published in Volume 49, No. 60 of the Florida Administrative Register on March 28, 2023. Subparagraph 65C-45.010(2)(g)3. requires all medications to be stored in a location that is locked and inaccessible to children.
The petition was granted because Petitioner demonstrated a potential violation of principles of fairness and that the underlying purpose of the statutes will likely be achieved. If any incidents are reported, the variance will terminate.
