    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Construction Industry Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from American Council of Engineering Consultants of Florida, on May 11, 2018. The petition seeks the agencys opinion as to the applicability of Part I, Chapter 489, F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner seeks a determination from the Board regarding whether a geotechnical engineering firm can perform subsurface grouting in a sinkhole prone area with its own personnel and equipment, as an ancillary function of the firm’s engineering work, without being licensed as a Florida contractor. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
