NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 25, 2013, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Sarasota Alliance Church. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A18.1, Section 2.1.1.6, 2.1.1.7, 2.1.1.2 and 2.11.3, and FBC 11.4.11 as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators runway enclosure and platform lifts provided which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
