NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Construction Industry Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from Robert C. Meacham, Esq., on behalf of South Bay Builders, LLC, on July 5, 2017. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Section 489.113(9)(a), F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioner is a Certified Building Contractor seeking a determination from the Board regarding whether Petitioner can subcontract the portion of the work on a contract (demolition) that is not within its license to a certified general contractor. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
