Suwannee River Water Management District RFQ 14/15-033WS
The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) is conducting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for providing monitor well construction services. These services support optimizing the District’s monitor well network. The District anticipates qualifying up to five (5) Well Drilling Contractors through this RFQ. Work Assignments issued under this RFQ must be completed within the three (3) year contract term, unless the Work Assignment is unavoidably delayed. Contractors qualified through this RFQ will remain qualified for the three-year term of their contract.
Projects awarded will contain Works that include, but are not limited to: well drilling, casing, grouting, developing, specific capacity testing and completing monitor wells throughout the District at twenty-five (25) approximate locations. Monitor wells will be constructed for purposes of monitoring water levels. Generally, 25 Upper Floridan aquifer (UFA) wells; 9 intermediate aquifer system (IAS) wells and 16 surficial aquifer system (SAS) wells will be constructed.
Proposals are due August 7, 2015, at 4:00 p.m.
