SUMMARY: The Florida Lottery will conduct eighteen GROUPER® Retailer Drawings on October 14, 2015, in which Florida Lottery retailers will have a chance to win $1,000.

THE FULL TEXT OF THE EMERGENCY RULE IS:

 

53ER15-47 GROUPER® Retailer Drawings.

(1) During the GROUPER® promotional period of August 10, 2015, through October 11, 2015, Florida Lottery retailers will earn one entry into one of eighteen drawings, determined by district and retailer category (corporate or independent), for every GROUPER sale the retailer transacts for a chance to win $1,000.

(2) The Florida Lottery will conduct the GROUPER® Retailer Drawings on October 14, 2015.

(3) In each of the eighteen drawings, entries will be randomly drawn by the Florida Lottery and prizes awarded in accordance with the following table:

(4) In each of the eighteen drawings, entries will be randomly drawn by the Florida Lottery in accordance with the table below to determine retailer winners and alternate retailer winners.

(5) Prizes will be awarded to retailers in the order entries are drawn.  An individual retailer location may only win one prize. Alternate entries will be used as needed in the order in which they are drawn to award a prize in the event a retailer’s entry is disqualified because the retailer has already been awarded a prize in the drawing, or due to non-compliance with Florida Lottery laws, rules or terms of the retailer contract.

(6) A total of one hundred-thirty $1,000 prizes will be awarded in the drawings.

(7) Retailers will receive their GROUPER Retailer Drawing prize check within approximately three weeks of the drawing.

(8) Retailers whose Florida Lottery contracts are terminated or inactivated prior to the promotional prize award shall be paid the promotional prize provided the termination or inactivation was not due to non-compliance with Florida Lottery laws, rules or terms of the retailer contract.

THIS RULE TAKES EFFECT UPON BEING FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE UNLESS A LATER TIME AND DATE IS SPECIFIED IN THE RULE.
