NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Agency for Health Care Administration has received the petition for declaratory statement from Clinical Pathology Laboratories Southeast, Inc. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 483.181, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

The Petitioner seeks clarification whether it is authorized by law to examine laboratory specimens submitted to it by a foreign visitor with a written order for laboratory testing from a healthcare practitioner from the country of his/her residence.
