    The Department of Children and Families hereby gives notice:

    The Department of Children and Families has issued an order disposing of the petition for waiver of subsection 65C-13.025(2), F.A.C., filed by OurKids of Miami-Dade/Monroe, Inc., Case No., 18-035W on August 28, 2018. The Notice of Variance and Waivers was published in Volume 44, No. 154, F.A.R., on August 8, 2018. subsection 65C-13.025(2), F.A.C., allows for licensing of employees of the Department, county sheriff’s offices, community-based care lead agencies and their subcontracted providers or their relatives who desire to become out-of-home caregivers if certain provisions are follows. The following is a summary of the agency’s disposition of the petition:

    The petition for waiver of subsection 65C-13.025(2), F.A.C., was denied as Petitioner did not provide sufficient details that justified a substantial hardship.
