NOTICE OF CHANGE
Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 45 No. 135, July 12, 2019 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.
The Board received written comments from the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee and based upon those comments, the Board, at its meeting held on October 4, 2019, voted to change the rule.
64B9-15.007 Approval and Renewal of New Certified Nursing Assistant Training Programs.
(1) through (2) No change.
(3) Each program must renew every two-years by completing the Nursing Assistant Training Program Renewal Application, form number DH-MQA 1257 (8/11), herein incorporated by reference, available at https://www.flrules.org/Gateway/reference.asp?No=Ref-01260, or from the Board office, or on the Board’s website: http://FloridasNursing.gov, and submitting it to the Board within sixty (60) days prior to December 31 of each even numbered calendar year. If a program fails to timely file a renewal application, the Board shall rescind the approval. An extension of time for good cause shown may be granted by the Board. Good cause may consist of acts of nature, serious illness or death of essential faculty or administrator or any other circumstance which creates an impediment for the program.
