Rules continue to be promulgated in this department to allow for hemp to be grown in Florida, a program authorized by Section 581.217, F.S. The Florida Agriculture Promotional Campaign (FAPC) creates provisions for the agricultural industry to use Fresh From Florida brand identifiers on packaging and advertising to promote Florida-grown commodities. These rules will create provisions for Florida-grown hemp to use these brand identifiers. A separate identifier will be created for hemp that is grown, processed and manufactured in Florida.
