60FF-1.013. State Intranet Users: Clearance Requests Related to Interoperability and Security

  • 1(1) 2Clearance Requests must be submitted by SUNCOM Customers that are:

    12(a) 13Using the State Intranet and;

    18(b) 19Are not Required Users and;

    24(c) 25Are intending to initiate Network Solutions that result in the purchase or lease of Network Services, Network Software or Network Equipment and these network resources:

    501. 51Make use of the Internet Protocol and;

    582. 59Are not provided through SUNCOM.

    64(2) 65These Customers must follow the 70submittal standards established in Rule 7560FF-1.004, 76F.A.C., to 78provide the following as a part of the Clearance Request:

    88(a) 89Address, city, state, zip code where the primary part of the Network Solution shall take place;

    105(b) 106Date that the Network Solution is to be implemented;

    115(c) 116Any pending SUNCOM orders affected;

    121(d) 122Brief summary of Business Objectives;

    127(e) 128General descriptions of the Network Equipment, Software or Services comprising the Network Solution;

    141(f) 142If known at the time of submittal of the Clearance Request, the entity that is expected to provide the solution with 163contact information including: 166entity name, city, state, representative name, telephone number and electronic mail address;

    178(g) 179A “Customer Notice of Security Concern Regarding a Network Solution” in accordance with Rule 19360FF-1.005, 194F.A.C., if the Network Solution creates any Security Exposures in violation of Rule 20760FF-3.004, 208F.A.C.

    209(3) 210A statement must be included that the Customer shall commit to Rule 22260FF-3.005, 223F.A.C., and be prepared to demonstrate this commitment by also making purchasing documents available to the Department.

    240(4) 241The Customer must provide any subsequent supplementary documentation requested by the Department that shall clarify or elaborate on the Network Solution and is needed to properly evaluate its potential impact on the State Intranet and its other Customers.
