61K1-1. General Rules For Boxing, Kickboxing, And Mixed Martial Arts |
1(1) A meeting of the commission shall be convened, after the executive director gives notice as required by Chapters 120 and 286, F.S., upon the call of the chairman or at least three members of the commission. The location of the meeting shall be determined by a majority of the commission. Under no circumstances shall a meeting of the commission occur unless notice has been made as required in Chapters 120 and 286, F.S.
75(2) At the first meeting after June 1 of each year, the commission shall elect a chairman and vice-chairman from among its membership.
98(3) No member or employee of the commission shall be a member of, belong to, contract with, or receive any compensation from any person or entity who sanctions, arranges, promotes, or who otherwise has a financial interest in any active participant currently registered with a registry.
144(4) No commissioner shall represent to another person or organization that the executive director is acting for or representing the commission unless the executive director has first obtained the authority of the commission to so act or represent.
182(5) No member or employee of the commission shall supervise a boxing event in another state, 198except as authorized by Section 203548.003(7), F.S.
