1(1) “Patent Administrator” shall be defined as a Department of Citrus employee appointed by the Executive Director. In addition to his/her established work responsibilities, the “Patent Administrator” shall have the responsibility to expedite patentable ideas through Departmental processes, up to and including registration of patents with the U.S. Patent Trademark Office.
52(2) “Patent Screening Committee” shall be composed of five (5) to seven (7) Department of Citrus employees to be appointed by the Executive Director or his/her designee. The Committee shall advise and assist the Patent Administrator on the suitability and potential of inventions proposed for patenting.
