20-13.010. Temple; Classification and Standards

  • 1(1) Classification: The market classification of the citrus hybrid “Temple,” shall be “Tangerine,” or “Mandarin.”

    18(2) Identification:

    20(a) The proper identification shall be either “Temple,” “Temple Tangerine,” “Tangerine,” “Royal Tangerine,” “Temple Mandarin” or “Mandarin” and one such name shall be used whenever this fruit is identified.

    53(b) In order to be marketed as “Temple Mandarin” or “Mandarin” the fruit must meet the requirements set forth in Rule 7420-13.0042, 75F.A.C.

    76(c) In order to be marketed as seedless or low-seeded the fruit must meet the definitions set forth in Rule 9620-13.0041, 97F.A.C.

    98(3) Standards: The standards as set forth in Chapters 20-55 and 20-56, F.A.C., shall be applicable to this fruit.
