NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 12, 2016, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Stonewall Bar. Petitioner seeks an emergency permanent variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, Section 5.2.1.7.2, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), F.A.C., which requires that if a separate machinery space is provided it shall be enclosed to a height of not less than 2000 mm (79 inches) which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
