NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 04, 2018, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Excel Real Estate Services at 2375 Tamiami Trail, Naples, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1, sections 2.4.1.5 and 2.15.9.2, as adopted by rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires platform guards and bottom car clearances which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
