NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Board of Massage Therapy has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Elena Gournelos, BS, LMT, on October 05, 2018. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition: The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 44, No. 215, of the November 2, 2018, Florida Administrative Register. The Board reviewed the Petition as its meeting held on December 12, 2018, by telephonic conference call. The Board’s Order, filed on March 14, 2019, found that the petition was not in substantial compliance with the provisions of Section 120.565, F.S., and Chapter 28-105, F.A.C. The Board also found that Petitioner lacks standing and has not achieved the purpose of the underlying statute by other means. The Petition for Declaratory Statement is denied.
