    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 10, 2015, the Construction Industry Licensing Board received a petition for declaratory statement from James M. Sapp/MESA. The petition seeks the agencys opinion as to the applicability of Section 489.105, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

    The petitioner seeks a declaratory statement regarding Section 489.105, Florida Statutes, as to which license, General Contractor, Natural Gas Contractor or Underground Utility and Excavation Contractor, would be required to perform the excavation of pipelines and associated trenching activities, and whether an Underground Contractor's license is limited to work on water, sewer, and storm drain lines. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
