NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Universtiy of Central Florida, on behalf of its Board of Trustees, announces that services of qualified contractor and supplier to perform corrective, predicative and preventive maintenance activities are required for the following production plant buildings and /or supporting ancillary and auxiliary equipment:
Main Chilled Water Plant, Satellite Chilled Water Plant, Water Plant, Combined
Heat & Power Plant, and UCF sub metering infrastructure
The initial term of the agreement will be two years, with the option to extend the agreement for three (3) additional one year terms, upon completion of satisfactory performance, for a total of five years.
INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully review the Contract and General Conditions documents. Submitting a proposal for this project constitutes complete agreement with and acceptance of the terms and conditions contained within these documents. These documents can be found on our website at www.fp.ucf.edu, with the advertisement.
Firms desiring to provide professional services shall apply by letter specifying the discipline for which they are applying. Proximity of location will be a prime factor in the selection of the firm.
Attach to each letter of application:
1. A copy of the firm’s General Contractor’s licensure.
Note: All applicants must be licensed to practice as general contractors in the State of Florida at the time of application. Corporations must be registered to operate in the State of Florida by the Department of State, Division of Corporations, at the time of application. Applications that do not comply with all instructions may be disqualified. Application materials will not be returned.
2. Information provided on the General Contractor Form.
3. Narrative to address items listed in the Selection Criteria, as noted on the Project Fact Sheet.
4. A narrative addressing your firm’s process related to E-verification, Criminal Background Checks, and Drug-free Workplace requirements.
Applications which do not comply with the above instructions will not be considered. Application materials will not be returned. Late submissions will not be accepted.
The plans and specifications for A/E projects are subject to reuse in accordance with the provisions of Section 287.055, Florida Statutes.
As required by University of Central Florida Regulations 7.102.22, a consultant may not submit a proposal for this project if it is on the convicted vendor list for a public entity crime committed within the past 36 months. The selected consultant must warrant that it will neither utilize the services of, nor contract with, any supplier, subcontractor, or consultant in excess of $15,000.00 in connection with this project for a period of 36 months from the date of their being placed on the convicted vendor list.

Firms will submit five (5) bound copies and one (1) electronic copy of the submittal. Facsimile (FAX) or email submittals are not acceptable and will not be considered.
