    The Board of Professional Engineers hereby gives notice:

    O the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Waiver, filed on August 1, 2016, by Manoj Tadhani. The Notice of Petition for Waiver was published in Vol. 42, No. 151, of the August 4, 2016, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver of subsection 61G15-20.007(3), F.A.C., and certification to sit for the Professional engineer (principles and practices) licensure examination. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on August 18, 2016, in Orlando, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on September 13, 2016, granted the Petition for Waiver because the petition was in substantial compliance with the provisions of Section 120.542, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 28-104, Florida Administrative Code, the Applicant met the purpose of the underlying statute based upon his attempts to comply with the Boards licensure requirements, and the Applicant has otherwise shown that the application of the rule would violate principles of fairness as applied.
