1(1) Only an authorized medical physicist or authorized user qualified to perform procedures described in subsection 1764E-5.632(2), 18F.A.C., shall calculate the activity of each strontium-90 source that is used to determine the treatment times for ophthalmic treatments. The decay must be based on the activity determined under Rule 4964E-5.6331, 50F.A.C.
51(2) For each Strontium 90 source the licensee shall retain the following records for the life of the source:
70(a) The date and activity of the source as determined under Rule 8264E-5.6331, 83F.A.C.; and
85(b) For each decay calculation, the date and the source activity as determined under Rule 10064E-5.6332, 101F.A.C.
