62-602.750. Denial of Application or Renewal of Licenses  


Effective on Wednesday, February 6, 2002
  • 1(1) The Department shall deny an application for license examination, license issuance, or renewal of a license for any of the following reasons:

    24(a) Submission of false or misleading information on the license application or renewal request.

    38(b) Submission of a non-redeemable check with the license application or renewal request.

    51(c) Failure to supply information needed to complete the application or renewal request.

    64(d) Failure to pass the appropriate examination.

    71(e) Fraud or cheating on an examination.

    78(f) Revoked or suspended license in Florida or another state.

    88(g) Any of the reasons listed in Rule 9662-602.800, 97F.A.C.

    98(2) Upon denial of renewal of a license, the Department shall give written notice to the person involved. Within 21 days from receipt of notice, the person affected may petition for an administrative hearing under Sections 134120.569 135and 136120.57, F.S.
