1. Notices of Development of Proposed Rules and Negotiated Rulemaking

  • Vital Statistics
    • This rule will be amended to implement the "Grieving Families Act," and will be promulgated along with new rule 64V-1.062.
• Department of Financial Services
  • OIR – Insurance Regulation
    • Amends rule to remove reference to the Medicare Part B deductible amount.
    • The amendment updates the amount of the fines accessed for the late filing of annual statements or reports of insurance administrators.
    • Amend rules to refer to updated Annuity Mortality Tables for individual and group annuity contracts.
    • The amendments update a form number and deletes parts of the rule which are obsolete due to changes to the implementing statute.
    • Amend requirements regarding audited financial statements that are filed by insurance administrators.
    • Amendments update statutory references, edits requirements for Stop-loss insurance and updates the applicable actuarial standards to be used in the Actuarial Memorandum.
    • The amendment specifies the credibility factors to be applied for the calculation of deviations from prima facie rates.
    • Amends rule to remove requirement for insurers to offer Basic and Standard Health benefit plan due to change in statute.

    • The Department intends to amend Rule 65C-16.013(8), F.A.C., and remove unnecessary language.

    • The rule is amended to cross reference the adopted application forms for Prepaid Health Clinics and to specify that the applications shall be filed electronically.

    • The Board proposes the rule amendment to update and clarify the determination of openings for deputy pilots.
